THANK YOU SO MUCH! I got the package today, and was completely floored. I don't think I'll ever run out of gel pens as long as I live. XD And the iTunes card will definitely be put to good use, as will the manga. ^_^

Thank you thank you thank you!

Love,
Dusty

I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. Some of you have something in common with me and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all.Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...s/he likes office supplies."

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.

Final number for the Geico insurance: $550 for 6 months. I forgot to tell them about an accident I don't remember having in September of 2000. I was a worse driver than then I am now, so it's fairly possible I actually did have the accident. ^_^; Still a significant savings. \o/

And with that, let's get our next addition to the friends list...

...it's [livejournal.com profile] robertsearcy! COME ON DOWN! You are the next Friends List Member on DUSTY'S LIVEJOURNAL!

*is shot for running this gag so far into the ground that Rod Roddy's grave is uncovered to find Rod spinning in said grave*

I feel like the living dead. I also feel like someting crawled into my mouth and died while I was sleeping. UGH.

Off to brush teefers and then to take the car to the auto shop. Funny how it's called Crosstown Auto Service... and I have to drive all the way across town in a Geo Metro that sounds like a fricking monster truck. ~_~

Also, I SUCK AT BIRTHDAYS. I remember Mom's because I've known her for 23 years. I remember [livejournal.com profile] scardian's because he's only a week younger than I am. Everyone else... oi. I REALLY REALLY REALLY miss those LiveJournal email birthday reminders. ._.

What I'm trying to get at is Happy Belated Birthday, [livejournal.com profile] qathetenkou!! Next time you're online, I'll have a prezzie for you. *nods*

So, how has your morning been, everyone?

[livejournal.com profile] qathetenkou: eeeeeew, hamburger helper
[livejournal.com profile] driley1: The Cheesy Hashbrows Helper is AWESOME though! ;_; Even when you use veggie-burger meat!
[livejournal.com profile] qathetenkou: AAAAH! VEGGIE-BURGERS!!! *throws up*
[livejournal.com profile] qathetenkou: mom got suckered into buying some and they were awful
[livejournal.com profile] driley1: Not the best stuff, no... but when you have vegan roommates, you learn to deal. >_>;
[livejournal.com profile] qathetenkou: Boxed shit is awful. If I'm home, dad won't eat the boxed/bagged hasbrowns. xD I have to peel up some potatoes and make homemade. <3
[livejournal.com profile] qathetenkou: So, if your roommates ever turn into zombies, will they moan, "graaaaaaiiiiiins..."
[livejournal.com profile] driley1: OMG
[livejournal.com profile] driley1: I think you've beat Bastian when it comes to punnage.

One, before I forget AGAIN: I wanted to tell [livejournal.com profile] dalton6 that the chocolate did arrive in good condition. It's been consumed for a while now. NUMMY! *_* And the Hikaru no Go card is adorable! Thank you, dear! *snugglecuddles*

Now, down to meme business.

I want to also make clear that not in a very long time would I ever think of any of you exploiting things that are not meant to be exploited. The possibilities granted by this new site are just simply too significant to NOT say anything about it. I think I'm to the point where even if I do prune my flist, it's usually 5 people or less out of more than 150. Because you're all so awesome, I can't bear to part with you.

You all have brought some great points to my attention -- circumventing friends-only security is nowhere near a new concept; Frienditto just makes it too easy to be comfortable with. Also, remember that LJ has merged with SixApart, meaning there are real lawyers who can lay a very good legal smackdown should the need arise.

But for the meantime, in this time of uncertainty, please excuse my paranoia.
